Position Objective
To enhance, modify, integrate, and develop new applications for the Tyler Education Management System product suite.
Responsibilities
- Design and write major software modules to meet specifications.
- Modify and test existing programs to meet new or revised specifications.
- Assure program, module and system integrity through complete testing and adherence to company standards and procedures.
- Prepare and/or modify program and system documentation.
- Work through all phases of the software development life cycle, including analysis, design, implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS or related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 2 years experience with Visual Studio .NET required.
- Experience with the following technologies desired: Visual Basic .Net, C#, ASP.NET, JavaScript, SQL Development, ADO.NET.
- SQL DBA experience a plus.
- Solid work ethic with analytical and problem solving skills in a team environment.
- The ability to multi-task and quickly learn the products and process is essential.
