Software Developer

Location		Plano, TX
Summary Of Job Duties		Responsible for producing high-quality code and analysis for Tyler software. Maintain existing Tyler applications, perform system analysis, provide high-level troubleshooting for the support team, as well as develop code for new applications according to technical specifications and system designs.
Responsibilities		Performs maintenance coding (i.e. bug-fixing) on existing Tyler systems applications Analyzes and troubleshoot existing program code to isolate and correct errors Provides technical support to the support team in order to troubleshoot end-user application program problems Performs code enhancements to existing Tyler systems applications according to specifications provided by senior staff Participates in new application development by coding system features according to system designs Creates technical specifications and/or design documents for minor features according to software requirements specifications Produces internal developer-level documentation as required Special projects as assigned
Qualifications		Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science 2-6 years experience in software development. Developer certification desired Knowledge of one or more object-oriented languages Previous exposure to, or familiarity with, SQL and database design, object-oriented design and concepts, and client/server applications Ability to work well both independently and within a team environment Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong technical abilities and a desire to learn new things
