Benefits That Fit Your Life
Tyler Technologies offers full benefits to eligible employees to support their health and well-being.
Health Insurance
- Medical Insurance: We offer medical and dental insurance administered by Blue Cross Blue Shield. We also offer vision insurance. Full-time employees and their dependents, including spouses and children, qualify for available health insurance options. For employees who choose to enroll, coverage begins on their first day of employment.
- Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA): Employees may opt to contribute to qualified healthcare and dependent care expenses pre-tax. A debit card is provided for the medical FSA.
- Life Insurance: We offer both basic life and supplemental life insurance. Basic life is provided at no cost to the employee and includes coverage equal to your most current annual salary up to a maximum dollar amount. Supplemental life is available for staff and their dependents at affordable group rates.
- Short-term Disability (STD) and Long-term Disability (LTD): To assist a full-time regular employee from suffering a short or long-term financial hardship because of a severely disabling illness or accident, Tyler provides Short and Long Term Disability Insurance at no cost to the employees.
Retirement & Investment
- 401(k) with Company Match: Employees can contribute between 1 – 30% of their earnings before taxes. After 6 months of service, we match $.50 for every $1 an employee contributes up 6%. Vesting occurs over 5 years. Employees may participate from the first day of employment.
- Roth 401(k): Employees can contribute 1 – 30% of their earnings after taxes.
- Employee Stock Purchase Plan: Following 6 months of service, employees are eligible to purchase Tyler stock at a 15% discount through payroll deductions. An employee may contribute 1 – 15% of their after-tax earnings.
Time Off
- Paid Time Off: Because we believe it is important for staff to have time for relaxation and recreation, we have a generous paid time off policy. Most of our locations offer 3 weeks of vacation each year with additional time accrued based on length of service.
- Sick Time: Because we understand that there are times when an employee becomes ill and is unable to work, we provide sick time to our employees to aid in a speedy recovery.
- Paid Holidays: Although holidays may vary slightly by location, there are typically seven per calendar year.
Other Perks
- Tuition Reimbursement: Our tuition reimbursement policy encourages employees to build knowledge and skills by providing financial assistance for college coursework that will have a direct impact on the employee’s ability to play a part in the company’s success.
- Employee Assistance Program (EAP): In support of a work / life balance, our EAP provides staff with telephone and face-to-face assessment and counseling as well as Web-based services related to family issues, grief, finances, legal matters, stress management, etc. The program is company paid.
