These services are available to all Tyler SIS clients on a yearly contract basis. For non-OSDBA clients, individual services are available on a fee-based, per-incident basis. This service helps to ensure that your Microsoft® Windows Server® is properly maintained, up-to-date and secure.

  • Database Software Support — Database administration, software upgrade install assistance, PC client software install, configuration, database tuning, database imports and exports.

Tyler offers standard support hours Monday-Friday, 8AM – 6PM EST.

Remote System Maintenance & System Administrator Training
Tyler OSDBA experts keep your system running smoothly with remote monitoring. System Administrator training keeps your staff efficient and helps them to work effectively.

System Maintenance can be done remotely. With the installation of our OSDBA Remote Monitoring we monitor vital parts of your server (disk space, backups, DB engine, etc.).

It includes:

  • Operating system review and maintenance (O/S patches and service packs).
  • File system, printer and user cleanup.
  • Refresh training database.
  • Database analysis (engine tuning, review error logs).
  • Backup review (verify backups and script functionality and setup).

Remote System Administrator Training keeps staff functioning efficiently and effectively. The training covers:

  • Basic system review and analysis.
  • Automatic and manual database refreshes.
  • Tape backups — verifying, restoring, creating backups and backup scripts.
  • Licensing — installing temporary and permanent.
