Your Background: Prior to the great day I joined Tyler, I worked as an agency recruiter for six years, placing IT programmers in numerous fields. I started my recruiting career headhunting SAP resources. I developed the ability to find good candidates through lots of search, contact, and interviews. I placed candidates in numerous roles, from support and data analytics to development and all the way up to chief executives! It’s important to me to find quality and quantity. It’s fun and challenging for me to build relationships with complete strangers because there’s always at least one thing we have in common … technology! I love helping people find a good job and helping the employer with their strongest asset — their employees.

Best Thing About Working at Tyler: The people are warm and personable, and I enjoy working with teams. The work environment is thriving and growing. There’s never a dull day trying to find the best person for the job. More than any other place I’ve worked, I feel valued for the work I do at Tyler.

Advice for a New Employee: Don’t be intimidated by the depth and breadth of information at Tyler. Focus on one thing at a time, one day at a time. Next thing you know, a year will pass, and you will have learned so much! Also, lean on your team to help you through your first few months. Tyler provides opportunities for growth, development, and directions to achieve. You don't have to do it alone!
