Our HR Team is seeking a dependable, driven and detail-oriented HR Coordinator to join us in our Lubbock office! As an HR Coordinator your day-to-day will consist of taking initiative to provide support for our recruiting and HR needs. The coordinator will have a significant focus on recruitment support, career event coordination, new hire orientation, processing new hire and internal employee movement, and maintaining our employee files for audit purposes. Lubbock, Texas




  • Scheduling, registering, and tracking expenses for Career Fairs throughout the US market
  • Representing Tyler at career fairs as needed
  • Coordinating with local universities/student organizations and recruiters for recruiting needs
  • Posting and maintaining internal & external job postings
  • Open, update, maintain and close position requisitions in applicant tracking system
  • Assist in partnerships with recruiters and marketing on employer branding initiatives
  • Coordinate & purchase collateral for giveaways, career fairs and new hires
  • Occasional scheduling of pre-screens & communication with candidates
  • Create and distribute Internal New Employee & Promotion Announcements
  • Coordinate new employee Onboarding
  • Conduct new employee orientation as needed
  • Complete I-9 verification and coordinate with our corporate HR team, recruiters & office managers to maintain I9 compliance for new hires throughout multiple Tyler locations
  • Create & distribute New Hire, Transfers, Supervisor Changes, and Term tickets for internal use
  • Update online employee files through scanning and filing and ensure all paperwork is received including handbook sign off and other new hire paperwork; assist in occasional internal & external file audit requests
  • Assist Payroll in Verification of Employment as needed
  • Contribute to various team Ad Hoc projects
  • May perform other duties as assigned


  • Maintain a positive, team player attitude, while demonstrating strong, independent judgment
  • College degree in related field preferred
  • Ability to enthusiastically work with and engage remote new hires, team members, staff and management through proactive, effective and responsive communication
  • Previous HR experience is a plus
  • Dependable, analytical, detail oriented, and ability to keep information confidential
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
  • Strong decision making, and problem-solving skills required
  • Ability to multi-task, take initiative, prioritize, and follow through while staying organized
  • Understand and follow through on steps in the recruiting and new hire process in a timely fashion
  • Build a positive relationship with employees, managers, and candidates of Tyler
  • Previous experience with GoToMeeting, database software and project software are a plus
