The Proposal Response Specialist provides comprehensive, opportunity-specific product or service details during the sales process and responsible for developing proposals from start to finish; working with subject matter experts to gather information to deliver high-quality proposal responses.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the staffing matrix, project plan or Statement of Work (SOW), as well as essay style questions associated with Requests for Proposal (RFPs) from prospective clients and consultants. This entails compiling detailed responses regarding Tyler’s service offerings and approach to successful project management.
  • Contribute in the creation and maintenance of an RFP response database with the most accurate, up-to-date information. This may include some original writing and research.
  • Interact with Implementation staff and management to develop and maintain a keen understanding of our services direction and capabilities.
  • Consult with Sales on the proper service offerings for opportunities to ensure our success and the client’s satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum 5 years of experience developing public sector proposals.
  • Experience with Tyler Odyssey software, or criminal justice products/services within state/county government preferred.
  • Experienced responding to complex RFPs and coordinating processes as a senior team member.
  • Possess a high initiative and demonstrate ability to work in a strong team environment.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, and Word applications.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, ability to multi-task with great attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Ability to work independently and within established guidelines.
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
