State Park Tech That Goes the Extra Mile

Providing state park technology that goes the extra mile means that go-live is not the destination — it is the trailhead. What starts as early conversations about park needs turns into a partnership that helps the agency continuously succeed with multiple avenues of client support, and opportunities to leverage park knowledge from the entire client base.

Dedicated Support in the Short- and Long-Term

Tyler’s white-glove support begins before an agency even becomes a client as agencies discuss challenges and unique needs during initial conversations.

“Strong and lasting partnerships are built on mutual respect and a focus on achieving great outcomes,” said Bill Bryan, vice president of growth for Tyler’s Recreation Solutions.“ Together, we ask the right questions and arrive at the most meaningful answers. Once we have the answers, Tyler has the resources to transform a shared vision into reality.”

Tyler’s outdoor recreation clients have the opportunity to participate in listening sessions every other month to discuss common challenges, explore ways to improve their digital ecosystem, and voice questions or concerns about state park software and digital solutions.

In addition to these listening sessions, Tyler’s Client Success Team provides comprehensive support on day-to-day technology issues and insight into product features and functionalities that can help clients get the most out of their digital solutions. These team members may have park experience, as the Outdoor Recreation team has more than 100 years of park service in various capacities.

Opportunities to Connect With Peers and Industry Leaders

Tyler’s outdoor recreation management team believes that community is critical to better service and outcomes for both agencies and park visitors. To help cultivate that community, our Recreation Management Community page, available only to Tyler clients, provides the opportunity for outdoor agencies to engage directly with peers to learn and discuss ideas, provide mutual support, and stay informed about new updates and features in Recreation Management.

Besides fostering client connections, the community page also provides clients with updates to Tyler product release versions, useful blog posts, direct access to recorded sessions, and pertinent partner product information.

To stay in the loop and get practical resources and client spotlights delivered right to the inbox, recreation management clients can also subscribe to Tyler’s client-only quarterly Outdoor Recreation Newsletter.

Partnership in Shaping What Comes Next

Tyler is committed to including clients in the vision for future products and solutions. That’s why, through Tyler’s Client Advisory Board, thought leaders from client agencies have the opportunity to advise on the long-term vision for Tyler services and products.

Meanwhile, through Tyler’s Outdoor Recreation Project Advisory Council, client agency representatives can serve as subject matter experts for Tyler’s Outdoor Recreation product team, helping Tyler create the best possible products to serve state parks —   and park visitors —  even better.

“Meaningful collaboration is the key to everything we do,” said Bryan. “Solutions are found and forged together.”
