Peoria County Reduced Risk, Improved Resilience in the Cloud

As system dependency increased, aging facilities and limited backup power made downtime an unacceptable threat to the Peoria County, Illinois, justice system. To reduce operational risk and ensure continuity across detention, courts, and prosecution, the county transitioned from on-premises infrastructure to the cloud. The cloud transition improved system resilience, freed IT staff from maintenance work, and created a more predictable cost structure. Today, the county operates in a secure environment where success is defined by increased access to justice with zero downtime.
