The Maine App Challenge is proud to partner with the University of Maine to provide opportunities to promote STEM across the state.
First-year University of Maine students who participated in the Maine App Challenge may be eligible for additional scholarships, each equivalent to three credit hours and applicable fees!
For specific eligibility requirements, please contact Ashley Forbes (ashley.forbes@maine.edu).
The University of Maine’s Fundamentals of Innovation (INV121) is available to high school students as an Early College course that allows them to earn college credits tuition-free! This course teaches students to generate ideas they truly care about and make them a reality – plus, design an app submission for the Maine App Challenge! Classes are available online. Teachers may also apply for training to be able to offer the course for concurrent enrollment in their schools. For more information, please contact Ashley Forbes (ashley.forbes@maine.edu).
Take your app to the next level by participating in a series of free, 45-minute innovation workshops. The workshops are the first step in the pathway to earning a University of Maine System Innovation Micro-Credential. Check out the recorded workshops here.
