Easy to Deploy and Manage
Our single-click client installation is self-updating, so administrators have the freedom to locate servers: locally for a single site, centrally with multiple-site connections and via an Application Service Provider (ASP). Communication uses firewall-friendly HTTP protocol, and accommodates LAN and remote users.

Scale Out Versus Scale Up

Stateless, n-Tier Architecture
Stateless application design makes efficient use of server and database resources for simplified deployment and easier backups. Information between the client and server is also compressed and can be encrypted. Eagle powers high-demand Internet applications, with fault tolerance assured by eliminating dependency on a single server point-of-failure.
Application Services
There are no limits to the number of servers, so you can make use of available hardware. The Application Server is a J2EE-compliant Servlet Container (Apache/Tomcat). Individual components can be installed and updated as needed.
Web Services
Eagle Software is engineered with XML Web Services in mind — unlike many systems, where XML transactions are an afterthought. Taking advantage of open standards, WSDL and SOAP, Eagle Software can expose a robust API — simplifying external system integration with Java, .NET, VB, C++, C#, COBOL and others.
User Interface
A Java-based client with limited workstation requirements provides a rich, powerful user interface. Java technology promotes cross-platform compatibility, so IT can easily move between significant Windows® versions.
