Accrued Wages - Using Journal Entry Transfers - PM Session

This half-day training will cover the steps to roll over Accrued Wages using the Transfer to Next Fiscal Year journal entry action (General Ledger>Journal Adjustments>General Journal Entry). IMPORTANT NOTE: Attendees should verify in their prior fiscal year if this method was used before enrolling as there are other methods for processing accrued wages. The Accrued Wages using Journal Entry Transfers is most commonly, but not exclusively used in states in the western half of the country. Some states never use this method, other states always use this method, and in the remaining states it is optional. States that we know that must use this method are: AZ, IL, NV, NM, OK, OR, UT, WA, and WY. States that we know do not this method are: CO, CT, MA, ME, ND, NH, PA, and RI. States that we know have a choice between the different methods are: AK, GA, ID, MT, and VT. If your state is not listed here, please be sure to verify the method used in the past. Please check with Support if you are unsure.
