Memphis' Data Culture Fix

The city of Memphis, a 2020 Tyler Excellence Award winner, is a leader in leveraging data for big challenges.

In 2019, the city launched the Memphis Data Hub, a comprehensive data portal that gives the public access to performance dashboards, code enforcement data, the capital improvement program, and law enforcement data.

Memphis was able to achieve this by creating a culture across the organization that values data as an asset.
