Strategy Drives Performance in Local Gov

During the August 2022 Performance Community of Practice, host Melissa Bridges invited representatives from the city of Irving, Texas, and the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania to discuss how they link strategic plans and budgets to performance measures.  

This hour-long webinar includes insights on how to define success and measure it; how to decide on a roadmap for your performance program; and how to communicate the work you are doing with internal stakeholders and residents.  

After the discussion, Colby Clabaugh, executive director of the Office of Performance through Excellence for the commonwealth of Pennsylvania, did a deep dive into the governor’s goals: jobs that pay, schools that teach, and government that works. These are the guiding tenants of their work and are measured on Tyler Technologies’ Open Data Platform.
