Our team of dedicated software developers and designers build and operate online services that United States citizens use every day.
We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated candidate who thrives in a fast-paced environment to join our team as a .NET Developer. This position will drive the iterative enhancement of an industry-leading set of products with a focus on performance, scalability, and cloud-native technologies. The selected candidate will have the opportunity to work with a team of highly experienced and talented product owners, engineers, and client-facing resources at various levels of state justice systems.

Location: Plano, TX (minimum 3 days per week in office presence)
Travel: 0-5% (rare trips to client sites for hands-on collaboration with clients)
About The Role
We're looking for an Entry .Net Software Engineer to help build and maintain our software products. You'll work closely with experienced engineers, product managers, and designers to develop your skills and contribute to impactful projects. If you have a strong foundation in computer science, a passion for learning, and problem-solving skills, we'd love to hear from you.
Responsibilites
- Write code to develop new features for Tyler's software products.
- Write unit tests and end-to-end tests to ensure software reliability and quality.
- Maintain existing applications and contribute to improving software performance.
- Participate in code reviews and design discussions to improve your skills.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related experience.
- 0-2 years of software engineering experience in developing web applications with a knowledge of C# and ASP.NET.
- Understanding of web technologies (REST APIs, HTTP, HTML, CSS).
- Solid understanding of relational databases and SQL for implementing database-driven, web-based applications.
- Good understanding of SOAP and REST web services.
- Eagerness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication skills, strong problem-solving abilities are critical, and an aptitude for learning new technologies is required.
- Self-motivated and creative with self-directed learning skills.
