We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Support Specialist to join our dynamic technical team, specializing in Oracle SQL expertise to support business needs using systems knowledge. This role is perfect for an experienced Oracle SQL professional who thrives in a support environment and is passionate about problem solving, data integrity, and self-development. As a Senior Support Specialist, you will be instrumental in supporting and maintaining Tyler's Enterprise Assessment & Tax CAMA system and additional modules, leveraging your advanced Oracle SQL scripting abilities to fulfill data requests using ad hoc queries, troubleshoot complex issues, ensure data integrity, and support/create processes that drive system efficiency. This position offers the opportunity to work with various assessment technologies and data sources while applying your technical expertise to solve challenging problems in a collaborative team environment.
Work with our technology-driven solutions for property assessment and tax software and mass appraisal services. From data collection to computer-assisted mass appraisal to tax billing and collections, you can help develop property and recording solutions for the public sector.
Responsibilities
System Support & Administration
• Provide expert-level support for Tyler's systems
• Take a system-minded approach to identifying root causes and proactive measures to mitigate them
Oracle SQL Development & Scripting
• Troubleshoot complex technical data issues using advanced Oracle SQL scripting
• Develop, maintain, and optimize complex Oracle SQL scripts for reporting, researching, and diagnosing problems
• Perform data analysis and validation to ensure system integrity and accuracy
Process Automation & Optimization
• Identify opportunities for process automation and efficiency improvements
• Utilize self-service tools and documentation to reduce manual intervention requirements
• Collaborate with team members to standardize and optimize support processes
Data Integrity & Quality Assurance
• Conduct regular data integrity checks and validation processes
• Investigate and resolve data discrepancies and inconsistencies
• Implement data quality controls and monitoring procedures
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of data processes and procedures
Client Support & Collaboration
• Provide technical guidance and support to internal teams and external clients
• Participate in system implementations, upgrades, and migrations
• Collaborate with the Technical Regional Manager and team members on complex projects
• Contribute to knowledge sharing and best practices development
Qualifications
Technical Expertise
• Experience with Tyler Technologies products or similar enterprise software systems
• Knowledge of CAMA (Computer Assisted Mass Appraisal) systems and workflows
• Familiarity with property assessment processes and real estate valuation concepts
• Experience with system integration and data migration projects
Professional Background
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related technical field
• Previous experience in technical support or system administration roles
• Experience working in regulated or compliance-driven environments
• Knowledge of public sector operations and requirements
Location & Schedule
• Primary Location: Moraine, Ohio office (2-3 days per week required)
• Remote Work: Hybrid schedule with flexibility for remote work
• Travel: Up to 10% of travel for client support, training, and team collaboration
• Schedule: Standard business hours with occasional flexibility for system maintenance and client support
Reporting Structure
• Reports To: Technical Regional Manager
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with technical support team members and cross-functional departments
• Client Interaction: Regular interaction with internal and external clients for technical support and consultation
Physical Requirements
• Ability to work in a standard office environment
• Extended periods of computer work and data analysis
• Occasional travel to client sites and company locations
