Technical Services Operations Specialist, Brazos

The Technical Operations Specialist is responsible for aiding Technical Services management in driving operational efficiency and effectiveness by developing and using tools that will aid the Technical Services team.

  • Utilize tools to increase efficiency and performance of Technical Services department.
  • Design, develop and implement special projects, based on business needs
  • Receive, inventory, provision and ship new client hardware.
  • Work directly with corporate hosting and development on issues that Technical Services needs development intervention for.
  • Maintain constant communication with Implementation Manager on status of new hardware projects, issues and delivery tasks.
  • Maintain constant communication with Director of Client Services on status of projects, issues and hardware maintenance tasks.
  • Coordinate the remote installation of Tyler software on client hardware.
  • Maintain familiarity with various types of hardware (devices, printers, accessories) utilized by the client
  • Communicate directly with hardware manufacturers and distributors to resolve hardware issues
  • Communicate directly with hardware manufacturers and distributors to coordinate hardware logistics
  • Independently evaluate results, draw conclusions, and provide recommendations to management for process improvement
  • Generate ad-hoc business metrics and reports
  • Work with Operations team to perform duties related to internal software and hardware audits, licensing, inventories and more.
  • Collaborates with other teams, departments and divisions with issues pertaining to Tyler software applications.
  • Manages open cases by identifying and prioritizing issues.
  • May contribute to company knowledge library.
  • Follows documented Tyler Technologies policies and procedures.
  • Provide product administration for internal support tools
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned


  • BS/BA degree in related field or equivalent experience is required.
  • Experience with CRM databases, Windows Server operating systems, multiple desktop operating systems, and multiple mobile operating systems (Windows, Android, iOS) preferred.
  • Expanded Excel knowledge is required.
  • Scripting and programming skills preferred.
  • Familiarity with software/hardware support operations is preferred.
