Client Executive

The Client Executive will foster strong relationships between Tyler and its clients and will be relied upon to provide advice and recommendations, based upon their own experience and expertise, for Tyler products across all levels of the county/state. The Client Executive manages an assigned customer region of post-implementation clients.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for working with Product Owners, Sales Director and RPM to develop post-implementation vision for customers in assigned region
  • Develop client specific roadmap which will include new products, services and improved configuration to reduce software consumption gap
  • Assist assigned clients in developing funding and rollout plan
  • Responsible for regular communication and periodic site visits.
  • Document and advise clients on best practices
  • Serve as point of contact for client escalations within region.
  • Promote customer satisfaction and loyalty by demonstrating an understanding of customers’ critical business issues and delivering services that help clients meet their business objectives.
  • Develops and maintains an excellent relationship with assigned customers at the highest levels.
  • Conducts periodic account reviews (including but not limited to):
    • Configuration auditing
    • State reporting verification
    • System health check
    • Data backup and recovery review
    • SLA compliance
  • Consult with clients on business processes and software modifications.
  • Performs other job-related duties and responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time.
  • 20-40% travel

Qualifications

  • BS/BA degree in related field or equivalent experience is desired.
  • Software life cycle knowledge preferred
  • Solution architecture experience preferred
  • Excellent planning, organizational skills, and ability to follow-through until process are completed.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills including verbal and written communication, teamwork, and customer service skills.
  • Proficiency using computers and exposure to IT infrastructure components.
  • Strong decision making and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong analytical ability, particularly in a technical environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project.
  • Exceptional conflict management, interpersonal and negotiating skills.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience of account management experience required.
  • Prior management and leadership experience preferred
  • Ten or more years’ experience in managing client relationships/software projects – preferably in a courts/criminal justice environment
  • Working knowledge of Odyssey products or the Courts and Justice Business required.
  • Strategic planner with excellent organizational skills and ability to follow-through until process is completed.
