Tyler Technologies is experiencing significant growth and we are hiring Implementation Consultants to deliver world class training and implementation assistance to new and existing Tyler clients all over the US.  You will train clients, via webinar and onsite, in the proper techniques for installing Tyler's products in addition to providing training in the use of related Tyler software. You will consult and partner with clients to gain a comprehensive understanding of workflow, business/technical requirements and needs to ensure that the knowledge transfer addresses client’s needs. You will ensure the transition to Tyler software is completed according to predetermined timelines and establish a positive baseline for the new relationship between the client site and Tyler Technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Provide professional services such as consultation, software readiness, and education to clients on Tyler software products. Design and conduct 12-15 days of billable training per month and maintain an organized training schedule.
  • Assure client satisfaction and successful implementation.
  • Understand clients' business processes and assess and identify best practices for configuring applications. 
  • May recommend options for new approaches in client work processes as appropriate to ensure efficient software solution for the client’s needs.
  • Facilitate communication between conversions department and clients during proofing and analyzing data conversions from existing software to Tyler applications.
  • Play an active role in troubleshooting client issues, or work with the Support or Development departments to resolve.
  • Keep up to date on administrative tasks such as documenting client issues, communicating agendas, submitting trip reports, timesheets and weekly expense reports, and updating systems-related client activity.
  • May participate in the annual User Conference. Facilitate user group discussion on assigned module/topic.

Qualifications

  • An Associate’s degree OR 2+ years comparable experience in technical training and/or technical support OR a Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field, or comparable work experience
  • The ability to solve technical problems, dive in to software
  • Experience with technical training and/or technical customer service experience
  • Familiarity and ease with computer systems and common software products
  • Experience with school district organizations, municipal offices and their technological needs is preferred
  • Exceptional presentation skills.
  • The ability to travel extensively (90%) overnight to client sites throughout the U.S.
  • A Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
