Terry Derrick
General Manager, Courts

Terry Derrick serves as the general manager for Courts in the Courts & Justice Division, where he oversees the Courts, Jury, Electronic Warrants, Electronic Discovery, Data Analytics and Data Partners business lines for Tyler Technologies. In his more than twenty years with Tyler, he has also served in various roles including the general manager for eSolutions and operations director, where he oversaw numerous software projects ranging from small county engagements to large-scale, statewide implementations. Some of Derrick’s most notable achievements include establishing Tyler’s internal training program for new hires by creating “Tyler University”, Tyler’s online learning management system, and overseeing the implementation of one of the largest projects in Tyler’s history, eFileTexas. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) focused in Management Information Systems from Texas A&M University and an Executive Leadership Development education from Stanford University.
