The Accounting Manager for Tyler India oversees and is responsible for the completion of financial statement analyses, third party accounting/reporting, monthly reconciliations, internal and external audit compliance for Tyler India.

Responsibilities

  • Provide independent oversight and coordination between the U.S. finance team and Grant Thornton India.
  • Review month-end MIS reports, reconciliations, and analysis for Tyler India.
  • Local India bank account oversight - bank payment management
  • Support compliance with local statutory, banking, and regulatory requirements
  • Review/Support preparation of year-end reporting package for auditors.
  • Provide insight and analysis on financial data and documentation as needed.
  • Contribute ideas and suggest process improvements to drive greater efficiencies.
  • Manage the system integration from local Indian system to Microsoft Dynamics 365
  • Manage the successful implementation of the a new financial system (Microsoft Dynamics 365)
  • Design and maintain new processes and lead change management effort to meet Tyler Corporate goals.
  • Manage multiple systems that process accounting transactions to produce the financial statements
  • Generate, present and effectively communicate relevant and actionable information to management as requested.
  • Effectively manage the India Accounting team (3rd party) to accomplish team goals/objectives.
  • Perform and thrive under tight deadlines
  • Demonstrate ability to deal with complex organizational issues and communicate with all levels of the company, from staff to executive level.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or comparable.
  • CPA preferred
  • 5+ years’ progressive experience in general ledger accounting, financial statement preparation
  • Some public accounting experience preferred
  • Experience with Dynamics 365, and system integration helpful
  • Keen attention to detail and ability to accurately review others’ work
  • Experience working for a US based publicly traded company helpful
  • Extensive knowledge of Indian GAAP (SEC and Sarbanes Oxley compliance helpful)
  • Prior experience leading teams or projects is preferred
  • Effective analytical and interpersonal communication skills
  • Advanced to Expert proficiency with Microsoft Office products, especially Excele 1 of 2

 

State-Specific Salary Range Disclosure Requirements

Salary will generally fall between $1,345,811 - $3,200,000 before adjustment for geographic differences. Recruiter can confirm if position is incentive eligible.
