Marketing Operations Intern, Fall 2021

Tyler Technologies is looking to hire a Marketing Operations intern for the Fall 2021 semester. The marketing operations intern will report to Tyler’s Community Manager and will assist with a variety of day to day tasks within the internal marketing operations team. In this role you will partner with Tyler internal clients, subject matter experts, system administrators, and the Community Manager to help monitor client ideas, promote Tyler’s vision of Connected Communities and assist with various daily tasks associated with other marketing technology stack software platforms.

You will be immersed in our online support community where you will gain valuable skills in the management and maintenance of an online support platform. You will also get exposure to a wide variety of Tyler products and visibility into how Tyler clients interact in a successful online support environment as well as how our operations team supports our internal clients.

This internship is a part time intern opportunity to join Tyler’s internal marketing operations team from the Lubbock or Plano offices. The internship will run during normal business hours (Monday-Friday, 8-5) with flexibility based on your class schedule and availability. Fall internships are typically 20 hours per week for approximately 10-12 weeks.


Responsibilities

  • Assist with tracking the progress of client Idea submissions in Tyler Community
  • Serve as a quality assurance resource for site content
  • Assist clients in troubleshooting for login issues
  • Update client information as needed in the Community platform and internal systems
  • Write and edit client facing content that points to current best practices in Cloud technologies or other relevant topics
  • Assist with potential updating of groups/renaming of products across marketing technology software platforms
  • Audit and update asset tags assigned to marketing collateral, videos and presentations on SharePoint
  • Perform tasks and projects assigned to you through our RoboHead project management software platform

Qualifications

  • Currently an active college student pursuing a bachelor’s and/or master’s degree in marketing, management information systems, business administration or related field
  • Coursework completed in at least 2 marketing classes
  • Excellent writing and proofreading skills
  • Effective time management skills (deadline/results driven)
  • Intellectual curiosity and an ability to understand both internal and external client perspectives
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Effective time management skills with a keen attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
