Finance Session 1: EFT Setup: 10:15 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.

The focus of this session will be to provide an introductory overview of the EFT setup process. A demonstration will be given on how to set up an Accounts Payable Vendor to receive payment via EFT, how to edit the EFT bank file, and generating Prenotes and EFT files.

HRM Session 1: Effective Dating Best Practices: 10:15 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.

This session focuses on how Effective Dated Pay records are used in Munis to manage pay changes over time. Participants will walk through how effective dates determine when pay rates take effect, how to allow future changes to be entered in advances and how the system automatically manages end dates on prior records.

Objectives

  • After completing this session, participants will have a clearer understanding of how effective dates works in EERP-Munis. Participants will also understand how and when to duplicate pay records for future changes, how effective dated pay supports both planned and mid cycle salary updates and how using these tools can help preserve accurate pay history.

Prerequisite

Participants should have experience working in Munis Payroll and be familiar with the Employee Job/Salary program is recommended.

REV Session 1: (EPL) Civic Access Overview for Admins: 10:15 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.

Within this session I will start with a brief overview of Civic Access functionality, afterward, we will take a tour of the Admin settings involved in configuring Civic Access; The bulk of this session will consist of how cases are mapped over and updated, how to customize menus and cards, how to manage, set limits and give permissions for customers as well as guests to view and access information in Civic Access.

A short but detailed dive into ESS and Employee Access focuses on understanding their key differences, functionality, and how each supports employees, managers, and administrators.

  • Identify and explain how familiar Employee Self Service (ESS) processes are represented within Employee Access.
  • Apply existing ESS process knowledge to successfully navigate and complete tasks using Employee Access functionality.
  • Analyze differences in workflows and user experience to anticipate training and change impacts when moving from ESS to Employee Access.

REV Session 2: (EPL) Inspection Management/Inspection Mobile: 11:45 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.

Within this session we will start with the mobile application (Inspections Mobile) reviewing functionality and how the inspector can manage and complete inspections from the field (to include reassigning, rescheduling and potentially adding an inspection, as needed). Once complete we will transition into EPL so that we can see how all inspection information completed in the field syncs over and updates the inspection record in the Inspection Management Dashboard as well as the workflow in the parent record.

Objectives

  • Gain an understanding of mobile functionality available to inspectors in the field.
  • Follow the flow of data from the Inspection Mobile application to EPL, noting updates to the inspection record and triggering of related workflow.

The session will cover how roles and permissions are assigned, how to effectively configure and manage user access, and best practices for maintaining system security. HRM Session 3: Mass Salary Changes/Salary Table Training: 1:45 p.m. - 3:00 p.m.

This session provides an in-depth review of Mass Salary Changes and Salary Tables within EERP-Munis. Participants will explore how salary tables should be properly structured to support accurate salary processing. We will also review the Mass Salary Changes program and the available change types and options used to process contract changes, pay band changes, and step increases for groups of employees.

Objectives

  • After completing this session, participants will have a better understanding of how salary tables support mass salary processing and payroll, the requirements needed to be reviewed prior to processing salary changes and the Mass Salary Change options.

Rather than focusing on report creation alone, this session emphasizes how to teach reporting concepts effectively across SSRS, Cubes, and HR Reporting. Attendees will explore how data is sourced, shaped, and interpreted, and how to translate complex reporting behavior into clear, repeatable training narratives. The session focuses on connecting system behavior to reporting outcomes, helping trainers anticipate common client questions, troubleshoot discrepancies, and design meaningful demonstrations that reinforce reporting confidence rather than rote execution.

Objectives

  • Identify how SSRS, Cubes, and HR reports differ in data sourcing, timing, and intended use cases within Enterprise ERP.
  • Explain core reporting concepts—such as parameters, effective dating, and aggregation—in a way that resonates with varied audiences.

This session will provide an overview of the CM Purge Process outlining how to build purge schedules and run the jobs associated with document destruction. We’ll also highlight how to restore deleted documents back into the database.

CPE Credit Information

CPE Information

Attendees can earn 1 CPE credit for each eligible session, for a total of 3 CPE credits for the entire PACE Community Training. To qualify for CPE credit, attendees must be logged in for at least 50 minutes and participate in at least three engagement activities (e.g.; real-time polling, Q&A). Credits will be awarded based on attendance and active involvement in the session. CPE certificates will be distributed within 60 days of the session completion.

NASBA Registry Statement

Tyler Technologies, Inc. is registered with the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) as a sponsor of continuing professional education on the National Registry of CPE Sponsors. State boards of accountancy have final authority on the acceptance of individual courses for CPE credit.
