PACE Community-Based Training Sessions are designed to help PACE clients deepen their understanding of system features, functionality, and best practices through demonstration-based learning.

These sessions will cover both components of the budget creation process, providing a comprehensive overview of how budgets are developed within the system.

We will review budget creation on the Financial side, including account-level planning and allocation, as well as the Salary and Benefits side, which focuses on personnel-related budgeting.

By addressing both areas, these sessions will present a complete, end-to-end view of the budget development process; this approach will help illustrate how the two components interact and ensure alignment between financial planning and staffing costs.

The goal is to provide a clear understanding of the full budget creation cycle, enabling the client to effectively manage and build budgets using a holistic, system-based approach.

EPL Session 2: Code Enforcement Mobile Register HERE >

1 Credit

This session I will review scheduling an inspection through the workflow from the Code case. I will also review editing the inspection record and how the inspectors can manage/ complete their inspections from the Inspection Manager Dashboard as well as in the field from the Enforcement Mobile Application. I will conclude by showing how all information syncs over into the back office (Inspection/ parent record).

Objectives

SYS Session 2: Creating Custom Reports with Cubes Register HERE >

Interested in building custom reports in Enterprise ERP, but unsure where to start? Join this introductory session to learn how Enterprise ERP Cubes use application-specific data to support reporting across key product areas through Excel PivotTables.

Participants will be guided through Cubes fundamentals and a hands-on, step-by-step lab to learn the basics of cube reporting; while the lab will use Financials cubes, the skills and processes covered can be applied across other product areas.

Objectives

  • Understand the fundamentals of Enterprise ERP Cubes and how they support reporting across product areas.
  • Use Excel PivotTables to explore and analyze Cube based data.
  • Build basic custom reports through a guided, hands on lab using Financials cubes.
  • Apply core cube reporting skills to additional product areas within Enterprise ERP.

Prerequisite

  • Basic familiarity with Enterprise ERP navigation (e.g., knowing how to log in, locate modules, and access financial or operational data areas).
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, especially PivotTables, filters, and basic spreadsheet use.
  • General understanding of their business processes or data (financials, operations, etc.) to help interpret cube outputs.
  • Access to Enterprise ERP and the required Financials cubes for participation in the hands on lab.

The session will also include a step-by-step breakdown of how to upload documents to the system, configure them for onboarding, and create fillable fields to ensure a smooth, efficient electronic submission process.

  • How to send it to a future employee through an email link.

This session will focus on the Year-End Close process, with an emphasis on identifying potential challenges and proactively addressing common hurdles. We will review key steps in the close process and discuss areas where issues are most likely to arise.

In addition, we will cover best practices for monthly reconciliations, highlighting how maintaining consistent and thorough reconciliation procedures throughout the year can help prevent complications during Year-End Close. Establishing these routines will position the client to identify and resolve discrepancies earlier in the process.

The session will also include a review of available reporting tools that can be used to research and troubleshoot discrepancies. These tools will support more efficient analysis and resolution of issues, ensuring a smoother and more accurate close process.

  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of the Year-End Close process, including key steps, common challenges, and strategies to proactively identify and address potential issues.
  • Strengthen monthly reconciliation practices by implementing consistent procedures that help identify discrepancies early and reduce complications during Year-End Close.

SYS Session 4: CM Onboarding Register HERE >

In this session we will be looking at a specific add on to Tyler Content Manager product called Content Manager Onboarding or CM Onboarding.

CM Onboarding is specifically for the HR department to aid in their New Hire Onboarding process and make that process digital/streamlined.

The focus of this session is geared to system administrators. ERP-integrated onboarding workflow solution that allows you to digitally create and send packets of onboarding forms to new hires as part of a Enterprise ERP personnel action entry.

Objectives

  • Gain understanding and use of CM Onboarding.
  • Learn how to create forms for use with CM Onboarding.
  • Understand how the new TCM Web Applications tie to CM Onboarding.

Prerequisite

  • Participants should have prior knowledge of their onboarding process.

CPE Credit Information

CPE Information

Attendees can earn 1 CPE credit for each eligible session, for a total of 4 CPE credits for the entire PACE Community Training. To qualify for CPE credit, attendees must be logged in for at least 50 minutes and participate in at least three engagement activities (e.g.; real-time polling, Q&A). Credits will be awarded based on attendance and active involvement in the session. CPE certificates will be distributed within 60 days of the session completion.

NASBA Registry Statement

Tyler Technologies, Inc. is registered with the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) as a sponsor of continuing professional education on the National Registry of CPE Sponsors. State boards of accountancy have final authority on the acceptance of individual courses for CPE credit.
