Mitigating Fire Risks in Communities

Fire threats are everywhere. That’s why it’s important for fire crews to have access to powerful fire inspection tools.

Fire inspections have been helping fire crews prevent disaster and save lives for decades. Inspections are put in place to mitigate the risks of a fire before it even starts. Over the decades, inspections have proven to be a crucial part of helping first responders keep communities safe.

The Indianapolis Fire Department uses a mobile app that aids in the inspection process. This tool makes preventing fires easier and safer:

  • It helps crews during fire inspections by recording the data within minutes right on smartphones or tablet.
  • It also can provide critical information such as hazmat details or the materials a building is made from when a fire unit is responding to call.
