Tyler Clients Top Digital Counties Survey

At the recent National Association of Counties (NACo) Annual Conference, NACo and the Center for Digital Government announced the winners of the 17th annual Digital Counties Survey.

The survey honors counties whose programs encourage innovation as well as collaboration. Specifically, the winners demonstrate outstanding technology practices in areas that share and streamline service delivery and enhance cybersecurity efforts.

“Innovative counties across the U.S. are leveraging technology and data to complete unique projects that better serve citizens, save taxpayer money, and protect citizen data,” said Teri Takai, executive director, Center for Digital Government, in the award announcement.

Of the 50 exceptional winning counties, all but 10 are Tyler clients. We applaud these counties who are setting the course for their peers around the country to solve problems and improve lives.

Montgomery County, MD, for example, took a deep dive into metrics to measure technology’s impact at the population level, particularly in economic development. Snohomish County, WA, is changing its internal culture to better leverage existing data to deliver higher-quality services. Montgomery County, VA, set up a digital appeals process for property reassessments, created a consolidated dispatch and emergency communications center, and formed a regional cybersecurity discussion group. Special congratulations to these and all the Tyler clients taking top honors in the categories below:
