Tyler’s Public Safety division is looking for a strong Product Owner to contribute to our platform and cloud strategy. As we undergo significant transformation across the organization, the Senior Product Owner for the Cloud Platform will help shape the vision, strategy, and execution in this area. 

Tyler Public Safety provides tools for planning, emergency dispatch, field reporting, record-keeping, and intelligence for public safety agencies. Our aim is to make communities safer as we partner with our clients. We are looking for a Senior Product Owner with SaaS (Software as a Service) product management experience to be part of a dynamic team helping our division move to the Cloud. We seek a team member with modern cloud technology platform experience, bonus if you’ve helped an organization transition from an on-premise solution to a Cloud based solution. Public safety experience is valuable for this role but not required.

What we expect you to do:

  • Lead a scrum team working on our Cloud transformation; bring the who, what and why to refinement sessions, write stories and validate work meets product expectations
  • Work closely with product, UX/UI, architecture and development to identify opportunities, test ideas, iterate on assumptions and identify risks
  • Identify, communicate and measure product outcomes and expectations
  • Co-develop vision and strategy with product leadership for our multi-year Cloud platform transformation and evangelize throughout the organization
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and product colleagues to ensure their perspectives are understood and represented
  • Use your prior SaaS Cloud experience to educate and share with the broader Product team
  • Communicate to a variety of audiences through written and verbal formats, comfortable presenting publicly

Role Requirements:

  • Prior Cloud product management experience
  • Can articulate value of Cloud technologies and SaaS solutions
  • Record of delivering product solutions that meet customer and business expectations
  • Demonstrate knowledge of enterprise level software with cross functional dependencies and organizational challenges with people, process and technology through a large platform transformation
  • Some travel (~10%) to customer sites and division headquarters in Troy, MI expected

State Specific Salary Range Disclosure Requirements for Colorado, Connecticut, and Nevada

Salary will generally fall between $85,204 - $112,109 before adjustment for geographic differences. Recruiter can confirm if position is incentive eligible.
