As an IT Hosting intern, you will experience the day-to-day of a successful Hosting team.

Responsibilities

  • Assist Hosting staff with analyzing, documenting and closing support tickets.
  • Use Hosting’s Dynamics CRM support portal to review requests and route them.
  • Use Hosting’s Service Desk support portal to create requests for server builds, resource changes, etc. for hosting VMs.
  • Prepare and/or modify documentation.
  • Respond and resolve alerts in a team environment.

Qualifications

  • Ability to work effectively with a team of professionals on technical and business issues
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
  • Basic knowledge of Virtual Machines
  • Basic knowledge of server hardware (including web servers) and network configurations
  • Basic knowledge of Networking (TCP/IP, LAN, WAN, Firewalls, OSI Model)
  • Basic knowledge of Windows Active Directory Services
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft server operating systems (e.g. Windows Server 2008/2012, SQL Server 2008/2012)
