That’s why we’ve built a jury management solution with capabilities that make the entire process as streamlined and efficient as possible, providing an easy experience for everyone involved.

About the Job

As a DevSecOps engineer, you will work closely with the product development and operation teams, helping to define, implement, and train others in, security and DevOps practices.

Our team has a hybrid working model, combining a blend of in-office and remote work. We may require you to commute into our Downtown Vancouver office from time-to-time (or all the time if you like) to collaborate with the team as needed. Responsibilities

Development

  • Collaborating with the development team to create a CI/CD Pipeline for our test sites, staging sites, and customer SaaS deployments
  • Setting up the CI/CD Pipeline to run unit, integration, end-to-end, security, performance and availability tests

Security

  • Working with the product team manager to implement a long-term security maturity initiative, integrating security practices throughout the business unit. These include our implementation, operations, verification, design, and governance practices.
  • Responding to security incidents
  • Training the operations and development teams in security practices
  • Collaborating with development and operations on incident investigations

Operations

  • Collaborate with the operations team to setup, automate, and support cloud and on-premise deployments
  • Training the operations team in, and creating on-boarding materials for, security and deployment practices

Qualifications

You might be a fit if:
  • You have AWS certifications, including some or all of the following:
    • Solutions Architect Associate
    • SysOps Associate
    • DevOps Engineer - Professional
    • Security - Specialty
    • Network - Specialty
  • You have experience architecting and deploying web applications to AWS
  • You have experience incorporating security practices within development and operation teams
  • You have experience with application data security, threat intelligence, cloud security configurations, and risk assessments
  • You have OS (Windows) experience: security, IIS, Services, certificate management and general configuration
  • You have a solid understanding of network and information security practices
  • You enjoy collaborating with teammates to get things done. This is not a “lone wolf” position
  • You enjoy programming / scripting / automation
  • You have a passion for continuous learning
  • You eat security problems for breakfast

These qualifications will help you stand out:

  • A bachelor degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Information Systems or related field
  • A CompTIA Security+ and/or CompTIA Cybersecurity Analyst (CySA+) certifications
