The Document Scanning Technician is a project-location based position responsible for preparing and scanning documents provided by the client to return to the client in digitized form. 

Work with technology-driven solutions that cover the full spectrum of the land development life cycle, including mass appraisal services, land and official records management, and property tax assessment and administration. From data collection to computer-assisted mass appraisal to tax billing and collections, you can help develop and deliver solutions that build thriving communities and fundamentally change how local governments operate in the future.


Beaver, Pennsylvania


  • Prepare documents for scanning (remove tape, staples, etc.)
  • Scan documents by entering associated record number into database
  • Enter type of document being scanned if needed (photo, building sketch, etc.)
  • Review quality of images (if present) relating to their associated record numbers
  • Meet or exceed required productivity targets
  • Address questions/provide information to client concering process if needed
  • Ensure confidential handling of sensitive government-owned data
  • Identify and communicate potential issues (technical and non-technical) to supervisor
  • Diagnose/troubleshoot professional-grade scanners to keep them in optimal operating condition throughout the duration of the project
  • Complete and submit required paperwork accurately and promptly
  • Attend and participate in meeting and training sessions as required
  • Communicate with client and team members professionally


  • Strong computer skills
  • Detail oriented
  • Able to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Proficient verbal and written communication skills
  • Computer, networking, or electronics certification or training preferred
