The Graphic Design intern will design print & digital collateral focused on the ever-changing government and educational sectors primarily in the US and Canada.

Responsibilities

  • Layout approved copy into pre-designed Tyler templates
  • Conceive, design and layout direct mail pieces
  • Generate new graphics to supplement copy
  • Transfer existing Tyler collateral into new design templates
  • Support the Production Manager in meeting production deadlines
  • Assist in populating the Tyler digital asset management system (tylerDAM)
  • Update data in the Brand Marketing workflow system (tyCAT)
  • Edit existing video footage to work in Tyler templates

Qualifications: 

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s and/or master’s degree in communications, marketing and/or digital design
  • Training/experience in use of the Adobe Creative Suite applications, specifically InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator. Training/experience with video editing applications (Premiere, After Effects) is a bonus.
  • Good understanding of sales/marketing concepts
  • Microsoft Office knowledge (critical: strong PowerPoint skills)
  • Effective time management skills (deadline/results driven)
  • Highly creative thinker with the ability to be creative within branding guidelines
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
