The Integration Consultant is responsible for delivering high quality, professional services such as consultation and education to clients on Tyler product APIs and data exchange tools

  • Provide professional services such as consultation and education to clients on Tyler product APIs and data exchange tools.
  • Design and conduct knowledge transfer sessions on-site or through webinars.
  • Perform consultation/analysis of client business model to identify and document client requirements regarding integration with in-scope Tyler products.
  • May identify and document business/technical requirement specifications for product interfaces and other relevant changes.
  • May create custom reports using SQL or customize existing reports to satisfy client data exchange requirements.
  • Create both client-facing and internal documentation related to data exchanges.
  • Occasional travel required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
The Integration Consultant must be able to:
  • Expeditiously learn, understand, demonstrate, and educate clients on Tyler product APIs and data exchange tools.
  • Demonstrate ability to understand business processes and apply these to the product interface design and configuration.
  • Demonstrate excellent people skills and ability to build client relationships.
  • Maintain a courteous, professional, and confident demeanor throughout the lifecycle of the client engagement.
  • Work with a diverse group of people and adapt to and work in a dynamic environment.
  • Exercise good judgment, discretion, and tact while working with clients.
  • Ability to independently keep up to date on new functionality and learn new product modules, implementation methodologies, and court technology concepts
  • Manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Complete tasks with minimal to general direction.
  • Demonstrate proficient knowledge of product integration processes, problem management tools and procedures.
  • Demonstrate excellent partnering, communicating, and negotiating skills to gather client requirements and communicate effectively with Tyler Project Managers, Implementation Consultants, Development Staff, DBA’s, and Support staff.
  • Maintain composure under pressure and accurately evaluate and resolve difficult situations.


  • Bachelor’s degree, or comparable work experience.
  • 2 or more years of prior work experience with XML Web Services and RESTful APIs.
  • Working knowledge of multiple file transfer protocols (S/FTP, FTPS, SCP, HTTP/S)
  • 2 or more years of prior work experience with XML, XSD, XSLT, and XPath.
  • 2 or more years of prior work experience with the JSON Data Interchange Format
  • 2 or more years of prior work experience with different file layouts (CSV, Fixed Width, Pipe Delimited)
  • Working knowledge of a web service testing application (such as SoapUI).
  • Working knowledge of an HTTP web service testing tool (such as Postman).
  • Basic knowledge of SQL and the ability to run reports using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).
  • Exceptional presentation and knowledge transfer skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Familiarity and ease with computer systems and Microsoft Office products.
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to travel occasionally.
  • Valid driver’s license.
