Local Courts Software Support Specialist

Responsibilities

  • Gain a thorough understanding of the Tyler Technologies Local Courts suite of applications
  • Communicate effectively and efficiently via phone, email, and in-person meetings
  • Prepare and modify documents including correspondence, documentation, reports, memos, and emails
  • Continually develop product expertise by reviewing new functionality, testing product issues, and utilizing internal resources
  • Train and orient clients on the use of court software and best practices
  • Use a development tracking system to log, prioritize, and track bugs and enhancements in our court software
  • Test software upgrades prior to deploying to clients
  • Communicate and orient clients to changes in software upon deployment of upgrades
  • Create and maintain documentation of various court software applications
  • Work with customers via remote connection and onsite visits to resolve software and technical issues related to our court software
  • Maintain rapport with customers by examining complaints, identifying solutions, and communicating effectively with the clients
  • Manage multiple tasks, set priorities, and adapt to changing priorities throughout the workday
  • Applicants must be honest, motivated, energetic, and willing to travel occasionally.

 Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred but not required (technology, business, or criminal justice degree preferred)
  • Knowledge and\or experience with Court or local government business processes and workflow is a plus.
