The Project Manager will oversee the management of new leading-edge Web/mobile/e-commerce applications and services as they move from client concept to launch. This position works with a team of highly versatile and talented project managers, developers and designers and at various levels of state government. In their role, the Project Manager will also have the opportunity to work alongside and develop relationships with key government stakeholders. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Effectively perform various roles involving project management and customer relationship management
  • Oversee and ensure the completion of project tasks and milestones within expected timelines
  • Manage business related activities to achieve project goals, objectives, budgets, and schedules in a team environment
  • Responsible for writing technical requirements and all aspects of project documentation including project plan, functional specification, and scope of work.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to identify, articulate, and mitigate issues and risks
  • Effectively manage resource allocations, resource scheduling, inter-project and external dependencies
  • Clearly communicate and report on project status
  • May assist management with special projects related to the overall portal
  • Establish and maintain trusted relationships with our state government partners at all levels from front-line customer service staff to department directors
  • Use proprietary software to build interactive online forms.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Undergraduate degree and/or equivalent work in Project Management
  • Self-motivated with strong initiative
  • Strong verbal and written communication, including effective presentation and customer service skills
  • Willingness to lend a hand and learn new things
  • Strong leadership, organizational, prioritization and interpersonal skills with a proven ability to build and nurture trusting relationships with customers
  • General understanding of IT development or the desire to learn about IT development.
