Responsibilities

  • Provides live enterprise software product demonstrations for multiple technical software product lines to prospective and existing clients.
  • Obtains knowledge and understanding of client needs and ensures consistent quality demonstrations are delivered to meet the specific needs of the customer and assist the sales team with closing sales.
  • Establishes rapport and credibility with existing and prospective clients.
  • Applies significant technical product knowledge and understanding of Division’s software products and services including Appraisal and Tax enterprise software and related technical solutions (CAMA, Tax Billing & Collection) to support sales and marketing efforts.
  • Assist the sales team in creating dynamic, product related presentations which convey benefits of the Division’s software Solutions using PowerPoint and related technologies/tools.
  • Collaborates with and contributes ideas/recommendations to the Product, Development, Marketing and related teams; assists with evaluating, improving and enhancing Company software product offerings to meet client needs.
  • Communicates with clients, internal staff, management, sales/product/development teams and related staff to deliver successful product demonstrations and related deliverables to increase sales.
  • Builds and maintains a comprehensive demonstration software database.
  • Tests enhancements to the software and implements enhancements effectively in the test database.
  • Travels frequently to existing and prospective client sites (approximately 50-75% travel).
  • Assists sales team by using industry and product knowledge to respond to all business and technical questions such as those in proposals from prospective agencies, etc.
  • Researches, troubleshoots, addresses and/or facilitates discussions with appropriate parties (internal staff, vendors, etc.) to ensure satisfactory and timely resolution to questions/issues/problems raised by clients and other relevant parties.
  • Proactively builds, maintains and applies knowledge of division products.
  • Execute all of the aforementioned duties for multiple product lines.
  • Demonstrates awareness and adherence to Company policies as outlined in the Employee handbook. This includes, but is not limited to policies for Employment Opportunity, Business Ethics, Anti-Harassment, Safety, etc.
  • Regular attendance is required.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology or related field or equivalent work related experience
  • Prior Appraisal and/or Tax software product/service knowledge experience is strongly preferred
  • Ability to learn and apply the sales process while demonstrating one or more products to prospective customers; prior sales process knowledge, understanding and experience is preferred
  • Strong presentation skills including strong verbal, written, technical and non-technical communications skills including possessing the ability to lead  software product demonstrations with high profile clients for multiple products
  • Must be able to tailor messages clearly and succinctly to meet the needs of the audience and maintain an approachable and courteous demeanor in all communications
  • Strong customer service and rapport building skills with multiple parties (client, internal technical and non-technical staff, etc.)
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, especially as applied to database and software application solutions
  • Strong negotiation, conflict resolution, influence and persuasion skills
  • Self Motivated/Self Starter capabilities involving proactively researching issues, obtaining knowledge/learning and striving for excellence in all aspects of their work
  • Must possess the aptitude to quickly learn, retain and apply new learnings including but not limited to building and applying comprehensive knowledge of multiple products; learning and applying various communication/sales techniques to meet customer needs; enhancing and tailoring product demonstrations to meet customer needs
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast paced, team based and customer service oriented environment.
  • Proficient with MS Office including PowerPoint and related tools/technologies
  • Familiarity with Oracle and SQL databases is preferred.
  • Must be able work effectively independently as well as part of a team
  • Must be able to travel approximately 50-75% of the time; must be able to provide reliable transportation and carry full insurance on vehicle

State Specific Salary Range Disclosure Requirements for Colorado, Connecticut, and Nevada

Salary will generally fall between $66,585 - $87,612 before adjustment for geographic differences. Recruiter can confirm if position is incentive eligible.
