CARES Act Backs COVID-19 Tech Response

Local governments and school districts are tapping into CARES Act funds to help pay for technology that has allowed them to comply with public health measures. While municipalities have limited in-person contact by reducing counter hours or closing offices in response to COVID-19, technology has allowed local governments to:

  • Enable remote work
  • Keep government operations running
  • Engage with community members

This report looks at how technology has kept communities connected despite COVID-19 challenges and also explores how Munis® and EnerGov™ integrate with a Tyler software ecosystem that makes remote workflows possible for employees and citizens.
